Formerly Arizona’s Attorney General, Mark is a renowned trial lawyer with a history of advocating for consumers, leading on major government litigation, and navigating thorny regulatory and constitutional issues. He assists clients with government and regulatory enforcement and litigation, particularly matters involving state attorneys general, appellate work, consumer protection claims, and crisis management.

During his tenure as Arizona Attorney General, Mark established himself as an indispensable advocate for Arizona consumers, securing over $1.5 billion in judgments and settlements in consumer protection litigation. While in office, he also served as the Chairman of the Conference of Western Attorneys General from 2017 to 2018, personally argued three cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, and oversaw the establishment of the nation’s first fintech regulatory sandbox, which empowered entrepreneurs to market-test innovative products with reduced regulatory burdens.

A public servant for 30 years, Mark also served as the Director of the Department of Gaming for the State of Arizona, during which time he enhanced the comprehensive regulatory structure of the state’s gaming industry and partnered with federal agencies as part of the Indian Gaming Working Group on tribal gaming questions in Arizona. Mark also previously served as an Assistant Attorney General in Arizona and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona, prosecuting public integrity crimes, which included two of the state’s largest-ever criminal cases involving gaming.
