Corey helps clients resolve complex problems efficiently and effectively in state and federal courts. Working collaboratively with clients to understand their needs, he develops litigation strategies that minimize risks and identify opportunities to resolve complex high-stakes disputes.

Corey’s practice areas include high-stakes business litigation, antitrust actions, and energy litigation that often involve issues of first impression.

Prior to practicing law, Corey served as an active duty officer in the U.S. Army 10th Mountain Division (LI) where he led soldiers and managed resources on multiple deployments to the Republic of Iraq. He continues to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve as a deputy director in a geographic combatant command.

Corey's recent experience includes:

  • Counsel for an aerospace & defense technology company in a worldwide price fixing conspiracy with a total claim for recovery in excess of $200 million
  • Counsel for a real estate developer in a contract dispute against a municipality for the development of government and private property in excess of $250 million
  • Counsel for the nation’s largest cruise line as a defendant in the first litigations ever brought under the Helms-Burton LIBERTAD Act regarding travel to Cuba
  • Counsel for a nationally recognized leader in full-service mortgage subservicing as a plaintiff in a mortgage servicing dispute with significant damages claims and counterclaims
  • Counsel for a public utility company concerning the provision of energy services following Hurricane Irma
  • Counsel for state clerks of court in a statutory interpretation dispute concerning statutory state funding requirements
  • Counsel for a regional furniture company in a contract dispute with commercial cable entity concerning the purchase and sale of advertising
  • Counsel for petitioners, including the victims of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and Pulse Night Club, concerning a ballot initiative for a state constitutional amendment
  • Counsel for a municipal school board in a statutory interpretation dispute concerning the allocation of funding to charter and non-charter schools
  • Counsel for a yacht construction yard in a contract dispute with significant damages claims
