Reed has represented both individual and multinational corporation plaintiffs and defendants. His recent matters include representation of a major private equity company and its founder in a multiyear litigation against its management liability insurer and broker; an investment advisory firm against the operating manager and majority owner of a spirits company in which it invested; and a former CEO against the conglomerate that acquired the company she founded.

During law school, Reed worked as an intern in the chambers of Judge William H. Orrick III of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, as well as in the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Manhattan.
