Politico quoted Boies Schiller Flexner partner Sigrid McCawley in its coverage of litigation over whether records should be unsealed in a Jeffrey Epstein-related sex trafficking case.
“The truth is that Ms. Maxwell and Mr. Epstein sexually trafficked [Giuffre] to their well-connected friends, both in this country and elsewhere,” McCawley wrote in a brief quoted by Politico. "Unfortunately, critical documents and transcripts proving the truth of Ms. Giuffre's allegations remain sealed in the vault of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. It is time for the truth to come out.” McCawley represents Virginia Roberts Giuffre in a defamation action against Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
