Kobina is a skilled and strategic litigator with experience representing clients at all stages of litigation in both federal and state courts.
Kobina’s practice spans an array of complex and high stakes matters, including commercial and insurance disputes, securities and shareholder disputes, class actions, constitutional matters, and attorney ethics issues. He has also maintained a pro bono practice dedicated to civil rights, which has included briefing Fourth Amendment issues to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and filing lawsuits against police officers for constitutional rights violations.
Prior to joining the firm, Kobina served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jessica G. L. Clarke of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Before that, he worked as an associate at a global law firm in New York City. He also served as an extern to Chief Judge Margo K. Brodie for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and as an extern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
