Sophie is a trial lawyer who counsels individuals and corporations in high-stakes civil and criminal matters.
Sophie’s practice spans a broad range of matters – from complex civil litigation and white collar defense to government investigations, employment disputes, and patent challenges. She has worked on numerous jury trials and played a key role in helping foreign plaintiffs secure three favorable verdicts in international asset tracing and recovery matters. In her pro bono practice, Sophie represents indigent clients at every stage of federal criminal proceedings.
During law school, Sophie gained firsthand experience in federal litigation through internships with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. She also served on the board of the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center and competed in multiple mock trial tournaments to hone the advocacy skills that define her practice today.
