On behalf of music executive Drew Dixon, Boies Schiller Flexner reached a settlement in a lawsuit filed on her behalf in 2023 under New York’s Adult Survivors Act. The terms of the settlement are confidential. Commenting on the outcome, Drew said “In a world where good news is often hard to find, I hope for survivors that today is a ray of light peeking through the clouds.”
Kenya Davis, lead partner on the case and co-leader of the firm’s sexual misconduct litigation and investigations practice group, said: “Drew has been one of the most courageous and outspoken supporters of survivors of sexual abuse. Her advocacy, including her instrumental role in advancing the Adult Survivors Act, has helped shift the balance of power in the music industry, creating a path to justice for survivors.”
Drew's mother, former Washington, D.C. Mayor Sharon Pratt, commented on her daughter’s team’s unwavering perseverance saying she feels “great appreciation for her indispensable partners in this quest, her capable, morally centered, morally focused law firm, including her champions Kenya Davis, a remarkable lawyer, and Sigrid McCawley, an unquestioned star.”
