Boies Schiller Flexner Chairman David Boies and partner Sigrid McCawley were named Litigators of the Week for the latest victory in their tireless work shining the light on Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking conspiracy. They were recognized for winning a Second Circuit ruling on October 19 that led to the unsealing of a deposition by Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
“We have lived this case for so long and it feels liberating to have some of the veil lifted off of these materials,” McCawley said in an interview with the American Lawyer. The BSF team handling the unsealing matter is David Boies, Sigrid McCawley, Andrew Villacastin, Sabina Mariella, and John Gerardi.
