Today, BSF filed an unopposed motion on behalf of Payward, the parent company of Kraken, one of the world’s largest digital asset exchanges.

The motion requests leave to file a second amended complaint in Payward’s federal lawsuit against Etana Custody Limited, Etana Custody, Inc., and Etana founder and CEO Dion Brandon Russell. Payward alleges that defendants orchestrated a years long fraud to conceal their misappropriation of tens of millions of dollars in custodial assets entrusted to them by Payward. Payward seeks recovery of at least $25 million in damages.
