Joshua practices complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. He represents institutions and individuals at arbitration and in California and federal courts in contract, fraud, economic interference, and trade secret cases.

Joshua is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and has significant experience working with maritime geospatial and hydroacoustic systems as an unlimited tonnage merchant mariner licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard. He has worked on high-value offshore energy development projects in the U.S., India, South Africa, Singapore, and Brazil.

Concurrent to Joshua’s practice of law and oceangoing experience, he has served 15 years in the U.S. Navy Reserve and currently maintains a commission as a Lieutenant Commander. His military experience includes a variety of roles within U.S. Transportation Command and Military Sealift Command.

Joshua is active in the pro bono legal community and supports several LGBTQ+ and veteran causes.
